Conference about the ‘Economic Constitution’ at Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples and Fondazione Banco di Napoli

Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples and Fondazione Banco di Napoli, together with Jean Monnet Chair NextGEUOrder, dedicated a conference to the ‘Economic Constitution’ on 13 and 14 November 2023. 

On 13 November, at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University (Sala degli Angeli), Francesco Marone (full professor of Constitutional Law in Suor Orsola Benincasa University and teaching staff member of the JMC) chaired the session featuring Francesco Giavazzi (professor emeritus of Political Economy at Bocconi University, former economic advisor to Prime Minister Mario Draghi) and Antonio Tizzano (professor emeritus of European Union Law at La Sapienza University, former Vice-President of the Court of Justice of the European Union).

On 14 November, at Fondazione Banco di Napoli (Sala Marrama), Tommaso Edoardo Frosini (Director of the Department of Legal Sciences at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University and teaching staff member of the JMC) chaired the second session featuring Massimo Luciani (member of Accademia dei Lincei, full professor of Public Law at La Sapienza University of Rome), Luisa Torchia (full professor of Administrative Law at Roma Tre University) and Giuliano Amato (President Emeritus of the Constitutional Court, former President of the Council of Ministers).
